CRM 2011 - Enabling "BIT"-fields (two options) in a Duplicate Detection Rule -


we have customer wants create "duplicate detection rule" on 4 fields , 1 of them "bit"-field (two options). when create "duplicate detection rule" can't select "bit"-fields. guess there no way enable "bit"-fields?

otherwise need write service who'll job of "duplicate detection rule". after match found, need send e-mail , "duplicate detection" able doing that.

is there workaround?

if can't create duplication on bit fields instead:

  1. create field (text).
  2. whenever record created or field updated copy bit value text field plugin/workflow.
  3. configure duplicate detection job on new text field instead.
