crash - Eclipse crashes when opening a file with pydev -


every time try open module python editor pydev, whole eclipse crashes , have no idea why.

the file placed in root, opening (build-in) text editor works.

  1. the extension of file since eclipse may open file diffently based on extension. try open file in text editor instead of default.
  2. operating system version
  3. eclipse version
  4. file ownership , permissions set on file trying open , directory in.
  5. does directory path or file name have funny characters. spaces punctuation other .
