reporting services - SSRS null parameter to return values -


i have 2 reports bound each other. on first report when choose field lead second report showing data row selected in first report. second report used updating, therefore takes in parameters. have 3 text-boxes allow null value , dropdown list.

first when created dropdown list , specified values, , added null value report returned row selected in first report data. tried assign values of parameter database, each time report first asks select value dropdown , display data.

how can add null value items retrieved db when null selected default values returned without problems, , without selection needed?

you need add condition dataset query handle null parameter. example:

where @parameter null or columnvalue = @parameter
