silverlight - Creating a Web Application that can handle intermittent connectivity disruption -


i've been tasked designing service used restaurants. we'll recording input, uploaded our servers later analysis. initial thought use typical web application don't need worry software updates, brings question:

what's best way deal internet going off hours, and/or browser being closed accidentally during time? possible create web app operates both online , offline, , importantly, when in offline mode caches input uploaded later when possible?

if web app not best solution, recommend?

html5, offline / client-side storage. make "web application" runs after collecting needed server, , submit required requests when gets online.
