alright, missing here. have moved several websites on azure take advantage of has offer. traditionally our team has used dreamweaver ftp up/down , such. don't understand how go getting hooked existing site on azure. can setup , web deploy new site, trying give rest of team access sites have setup , lost how approach this.

i have tried file > open web site route, , issue never saves project/info anywhere in vs, , required hook each time.

all of our local sites on shared network drive, access same local resources. thought pass them publish profiles , import, get, , edit , publish files... never gives option "get files" server.

for multiple developer scenarios, in best interest use source control system such git or tfs. allow not share source across team members, give benefit of tracking changes , merging files modified across team members.

if aren't comfortable source control, still have access files via ftp or secure ftp.
