pip - Pyside install fails (Python 2.7.4) -


i upgraded ubuntu 13.04 (beta) , i'm getting error when trying install pyside virtualenv (python 2.7.4) using pip: 

error: failed locate python library /usr/lib/libpython2.7.so.1

anyone have ideas? i've tried previous versions dev version, still no luck.

i'm author of pyside setup scripts. test build scripts on ubuntu 13.04. using 32 or 64bit version ?

update 1: fixed pyside build scripts ubuntu 13.04. need clone latest pyside-setup git repo , build follows (note --qmake param):

$ git clone https://github.com/pyside/pyside-setup.git pyside-setup $ cd pyside-setup $ python setup.py bdist_egg --qmake=/usr/bin/qmake-qt4

and install pyside distribution follows:

$ sudo easy_install dist/pyside-1.1.3dev-py2.7.egg $ sudo python pyside_postinstall.py -install

i have not used pip because prefer build egg once , install many times needed regards r.
