joomla2.5 - Is it possible to set user parametr in joomla without session? -


the default juser::setparam() method sets parameters session. is possible somehow store parameters not in session, available? found in users table field params, stores parameters current user, don't know how add data there...

have tried save object after adding param?

$user = jfactory::getuser(); $user->setparam($key, $value); $user->save;
