speech recognition - Do i need noise reduction algorithms while developing language model for my local language -


i developing acoustic model , language model local language , have planned integrate pocketsphinx , sphinx4.

now want ask need implement noise reduction algorithm transmission accuracy local language or pocketsphinx take of ? if yes need to, should steps should follow integrating noise reduction algorithm ?

you not have to use noice reduction algorithms.

if use one, make sure apply both training audio , recognized audio. otherwise may notice drop in accuracy.

depending on algorithm, may losing important data if use it. sound may seem better you, human, may become harder recognize sphinx.
