git - send email notifications on push from a GitHub repository -


sorry if has been answered before (if please reference links). looking way send out email notifications on git pushes github repo.

i realize there email service hook available. i'd send 3 addresses , setting googlegroup seems overkill. have read post-receive hooks not sure how set on github. know if there ways this. thanks.

apart email service hook, no email-on-push notifications available on github. can not canonically send such notifications more email addresses @ once.

you can, however, work around setting mailing list or email forward distributes email interested parties.
