Google Map API for Android: TOS Reporting requirement -


i have android application using v1 version of maps api. i'm looking upgrade v2, in reading terms of service came across provision:

9.2 reporting. must implement reporting mechanisms google has set forth , may update time time in these terms , in maps apis documentation. example, specified in maps api documentation, agree provide reports google if maps api implementation enables device detect own location through use of sensor (including not limited gps, cell triangulation, wifi or similar functionality) display location of device on map or calculate route.

i'm wondering if means there additional configuration or features need implement. know this question asked year ago iphone , answer "nothing" , couldn't find discussion anywhere on how applied android side, since (i believe) v1 api didn't require agree these terms.

for record, faq on question (found here) provides links guidance javascript, flash, , static api versions, not android. not state explicitly use of android api exempt.

i hoping answer still "nothing", because can find nothing in v2 api allow me programmatically provide data if willing provide (which am, making point). feel compelled ask because tos language vague enough apply android, , v2 api still relatively new maybe nobody has bothered yet. know less of programming question , more of legal question, if there in fact needs done in implementation, makes relevant programming-wise.

still "nothing" regarding reporting - automatic, need consider attribution requirements.
