user interface - Using HTML or any markup language for the views in iOS -

programatically implementing interfaces on ios verbose in opinion. sure, in ib fancy reusing code , hate having change 1 thing in 10 different places or spreading interface in 100 ib files avoid that. also, ib slow, although own new generation macbook pro, still have wait 3-4 seconds open large files, not mention lack of zoom , general clumsiness makes me run when hear it.

now, question @ hand, there open source effort or otherwise way describe layout (not view "logic"), layout in html or other markup language.

so far i've seen calayer has style property used, however, doesn't support positioning. also, tried use uiwebview seems force me have logic inside html code well, don't want to, plus, it's slower.

what else try?

you have @ nimbus css. you're looking in css. supports positioning , it's pretty stable.
