html - Captcha vs Hidden Field -


i'm been wondering if complexity of decent captcha acceptable simple website. wonder if using input field hidden attribute in css sufficient simple protection in html ?

a hidden css attribute not suffice. contents of input field still readable page source. bot or external program read page source can read value, regardless of visibility in css.

a captcha require user input, because if no user input required captcha can "cracked" algorithm.
