snmp private mib prevent node being readable for public user -


i dealing private mib includes nodes sensitive information. want these node readable user has private community string.

details:

usersentry     usersindex     usersname     userspassword

i want sensitive information readable users community string , not users private community string.

unless writing snmp agent of own, flexibility on security depends on vendor of agent. talk vendor , know answer.

generally speaking, snmp v2 won't want, role based security model introduced in snmp v3,
