apache - Way to stop a subdomin using the .htaccess of main directory? -


i have subdomain on server , don't want use .htaccess of main directory, possible .htaccess rules?

.htaccess rules inherited parent directory, afaik shouldn't cross between different vhosts in apache.

so long subdomain isn't rooted in folder inside root folder of parent domain should fine.
