ios - How to preserve TabBar interface when the previous view was from a Navigation Controller -

here basic navigation scheme in application

http://i.stack.imgur.com/xadtw.jpg

once access first view of tabbed view controller, tabview button interface not present, rather top navbar "back" button. want view governed both controllers. i've seen lot of posts around here they're severely outdated , pages linked no longer available.

you need change this:

      navcontroller-->tabbarcontroller                                |                                |                                |->item1viewcontroller                                |                                |->item2viewcontroller                                |                                |->item3viewcontroller

to this:

                      tabbarcontroller                                |                                |                                |-->navcontroller->item1viewcontroller                                |                                |-->navcontroller->item2viewcontroller                                |                                |-->navcontroller->item3viewcontroller

how manage part:

-->navcontroller-->viewcontroller-->tabbarcontroller

depends on aiming do... viewcontroller loginscreen example? have various options such as

-->navcontroller-->viewcontroller--[modal segue]-->tabbarcontroller  -->tabbarcontroller-->item1viewcontroller--[modal segue]-->logincontroller

that's broader app design issue...

i have related answers here: my tab bar controller disappears after push segue

and here: how handle uinavigationcontrollers , uitabbarcontrollers ios 6.1
