php - How to add same name menu items in joomla menu -


on homepage have 2 menus, top main menu initial element "home". on footer menu wanted start same menu item checked "main menu" administrator , here mentioned this->

home (alias: home) articles » featured articles

so created new featured article "home" , created. when attaching footer menu getting error -

warning: save failed following error: menu item has same alias in root. root top level parent

let me know doing wrong, , how create home menu item same stuff, i.e on click return main site(http://localhost/mysite) main menu item doing , want same footer menu home item not creating :( me plz

ps- "about us" article on main menu not including @ footer menu same error.

if want use same menu item multiple places main-menu , footer. can use menu type called menu item alias. this, create new menu select menu type menu item alias shown below:
